Abstract

Evaluation of manifestations of general intoxication and allergization of the body in patients with fungal rhinosinusitis. Taking into account the clinical form of the disease, 4 subgroups of patients with fungal rhinosinusitis were identified. The index of allergization of the body and integral indices of intoxication were calculated in the form of indicators: leukocyte intoxication index (LII), Krebs index (IR) and neutrophil reactive response (RON). The results of the assessment of the index of allergization of the organism showed that in both groups of patients the index significantly exceeded the indices of the control group (p<0.05). At the same time, there were no statistically significant differences between the groups of patients with chronic allergic MS and chronic eosinophilic fungal MS. Only in 9.3% of patients, all indicators did not exceed the reference values, which was combined with clinical manifestations of intoxication. Basically, a similar picture was observed in patients with mycetoma. It has been established that the indicators of the integral indices of intoxication of the organism in chronic fungal rhinosinusitis exceed those in bacterial and allergic ones.
