Quality of life of patients with chronic polypous rhinosinusitis

One of the most complex forms of chronic rhinosinusitis, both in terms of clinical course, and in terms of treatment, is chronic polypoid rhinosinusitis. The aim of the study was to study the role of assessing the quality of life of patients with various forms of chronic polypoid rhinosinusitis using the questionnaire SNOT 20. We observed 150 patients who were on hospital treatment at the ENT department of the 3-rd clinic of the Tashkent Medical Academy. The study showed that in patients with "eosinophilic" polyps compared to "neutrophilic" polyps, the quality of life is significantly reduced, which is associated with a widespread course of the polypoid process.
