Abstract

A microbiological study of the rally gloves of the company "Ansell" Vinil, Flex Nitzile, Soft Nitzil, Dermagrip Examination PF, Epic EC, PF, Eco Examination was carried out. Additionally, Encore Orthopaedic, Medi-Grip PF DermaPrene Ultra were used in the clinic, the study had 150 gloves that were used by dentists. As a result of a bacteriological test (the work of a doctor for 30-60 minutes recommended by the ASTM 1671 standard), the studied gloves showed an increase in the amounts of S, aureus after working in Vinil u Eco Examination gloves, which confirms the literature data on the accumulation of glove juice. The results of in Vitro studies have shown that Vinyl gloves are the most permeable to microbes, perhaps this is due to mechanical damage to the gloves during the doctor's work.
