Diagnosis and treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis in school-age children

Among children's ENT diseases, chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) is not the least common in terms of incidence. From year to year, the incidence of CRS does not tend to decrease, but rather increases slightly. The incidence of CRS varies within the pediatric population within 1-2% and depends on gender and age. In young children, the disease is more asymptomatic. At the same time, CRS is detected in patients with recurrent infection of ENT organs. Untreated CRS ultimately results in irreversible changes. In this regard, the question of the need to adjust the TMR disappears by itself. With the improvement of the instrumental base, questions arise in parallel about tactical approaches to treatment, methods and techniques for using minimally invasive technologies. In addition to studying your own results, it is very important to be informed about international experience.
